It's been a while since I've updated my GPU (I have an RTX 2060 XC Black), so I'm out of the loop: what's the gpu market like now? I'm assuming we're seeing less fewer GPUs being purchased for crypto. Are prices normal now?
- louhike 4y agoIt’s not quite normal yet but it is far lower.
- stu2010 4y agoMSRPs for a given market segment seem to have permanently increased significantly. This generation is expected to be available at this higher MSRP, however.
- whoomp12342 4y ago30 series on sale, over supply. Still more pricey than I care for though.
- SketchySeaBeast 4y agoWhat is even "normal"? Even excluding the crypto craze MSRP has increased dramatically over the last few generations.
- izacus 4y agoNo, the prices are still pretty high (although not insane anymore). They're probably not going down. On the other hand, these GPUs are very very good for gaming - with DLSS, most of modern games will run at high details at 4K and look like something that scifi shows dreamed of just 10 years back.
