Show HN: Where do you find people to cowork with?
I've been using this and really liking it: https://lunarpad.co/
But I'm curious what other people are using?
- radiojasper 4y agoSecond time you actively mention Lunarpad in your submissions - and you've built a mentor portal before. Last time you mentioned it was 4 months ago, so you haven't just "found this", you're actively promoting this.
- dapookster 4y agoHey RadioJasper! More so just solving my own need, but I'm curious if there other options out there. I really like nomadlist and am in a couple big telegrams. Curious what you're using. I've also tried indiehackers but it seems pretty dead for meetups

- radiojasper 4y agoYou're neatly ignoring the issue on hand here. Also you went from coworking with people to do meetups?
- scombridae 4y agoWhen I graduated college I interviewed for a few jobs in sales. It quickly became clear that it requires a reptilian adherence to a script, and an unflappable positivism. I'm glad I studied computers for which none of those skills apply.
- mtmail 4y agoIf you're the author do a https://news.ycombinator.com/show https://news.ycombinator.com/show instead. The question doesn't seem genuine.
- dapookster 4y agocool! I'm more curious about seeing what other people are using but i switched it to a 'show' to prevent people from getting upset
- radiojasper 4y agoLiar.
- kieranbro 4y agoUsed meetup a while back and met lots of cool folks - super excited to use lunarpad!!
- luke_heine 4y agoYeah I've had mixed bag with meetup. Some really cool peeps but also it seemed to have peaked a couple years ago. Thanks for adding to the thread!
- dmarvel 4y agoI haven't found an option I really like. Might have to give lunarpad a try because I've been looking for a solution
- luke_heine 4y agotight! yeah, I was trying to solve my own need with it, but let me know if you find any better solutions to try too. I'm almost entirely remote, so it's helpful
- a_burns 4y agoI've been looking for people to cowork with since I started my remote job. Can't wait to sign up - good find
- dapookster 4y agosweet a_burns! let me know if there is anything else you found, as well?
- mtmail 4y agohttps://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=30793623 https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=30793623 where a_burns presented something and luke_heine jumps in to praise. This is not a genuine conversation.
- radiojasper 4y agoFlag it, please. This is nonsense.
- dapookster 4y agoI switch it to a show, but i kinda just want to see what other people are using
- devonnull 4y agoA lot of the replies to this post read like astroturfing. Some people are shameless in their promotion, aren't they?
