Discord brings back old-school message boards to help organize messy channels
- julianlam 4y agoAm I the only one thinking that this will go over as well as Slack Threads did? Discord does a lot of things well, including many real-time aspects that don't quite fit a forum. To move toward providing a forum-like aspect sounds like it could be a bold move in the right direction, but sounds a lot like a square peg in a round hole situation. All the while, the same problems plaguing Discord (inability to index, ephemeral-first conversations) remain unresolved.
