Easy, so they can further control another critical part of the web user experience...m-p-3 4y agoIIRC Firefox does the same thing and maintain its own root certificate store.netsharc 4y agoYeah, during the Windows 3.1 days the browser (Netscape) had to bring this feature itself, Windows didn't have a certificate store.fomine3 4y agoSince Mozilla already do this, it's interesting that Chrome didn't have it despite they also have ChromeOS.
