What is your opinion on this certification?
- PaulHoule 4y agoThe version number of the current LTS Java version (JDK 17) is more than twice as large that of JDK 8. So I'd say it is a little obsolete. I'd expect a Java dev in 2022 (never mind the future) to confront Java features that aren't in JDK 8. Where I work we upgraded to JDK 17 this summer and I've been coding for my own account in JDK 18.
