Bought a mid tier bravia from best buy and loved it at first, but the ui has become so slow and is bombarded with ads. Also cannot disable featured ads and app

Bought a mid tier bravia from best buy and loved it at first, but the ui has become so slow and is bombarded with ads. Also cannot disable featured ads and app suggestions/channels from Sony. I hate it.
