I was a very early convert to e-books. I had one of the original Kindles, eventually a Kindle DX to read larger-format books (like tech stuff). I would still buy books sometimes (fiction and non), for special editions or for things where I was buying direct (or from a good publisher) and wanted to support the author, but, I've completely stopped at this point. At some point during the pandemic and lockdowns I realized I was drowning in physical media and I've made a very conscious effort to divest myself of as much of it as I can, donated tons of books and movies and I've bought none since.
