- logicchains 4y agoNot if you measure competence in terms of how much value the USD lost over the past 50 years vs the 50 years before that.
- prottog 4y agoVery quickly off the top of my head, we've had the savings and loan crisis of the 80-90s, Black Wednesday in '92, the Great Financial Crisis, and the European sovereign debt crisis. I don't think the world can handle any more competency in central banking.
