Not the same. I pay for YouTube premium but the algorithm continues to push: 1. Political content that is not only unaligned, but diametrically opposed to political content I've previously consumed. 2. Random "Free" movie and youtube original content suggestions (effectively ads, on a supposedly ad-free account).
