- vishnugupta 4y agoIndeed! WA is sitting on a gold mine in India. After a few stop-start and half hearted attempts they seem to be moving in the right direction. They partnered with Reliance Jio (a conglomerate in India) for grocery shopping on WhatsApp[1]. WA has payments through UPI for about 4 years now, though they didn't spend marketing it and kept it under the wraps.
