First, you absolutely have to ignore everybody here that tells you that this is a fine situation, that it's all about the business etc etc. You have to tell Senior management that they have created a Golden Goose, and while that it is admirable that it's laying golden eggs at the same time it's also playing Russian roulette. You have to convince them that not only is this situation a drag reducing their future revenue, as they cannot develop it further with any speed, but it can also come crashing down catastrophically at any point in time.
