  This is just spin and nothing will be done. I expect shops to be able to trade in imperial units more or less when the "British GPS" is launched...

    People said that about Brexit. And our crazy "government" are pretty desperate for anything to distract from their incompetence. So I wouldn't rule it out so lightly but I hope you're right...

      Public isn't asking for it and business doesn't want it. So even if it is legally allowed (and I really doubt it will go that far) not will happen...

        On the other hand, doing it is free and a great distraction from the total failure of all actual policy. Plus government policy is still "fuck business" as far as I am aware...
