The money is controlled by idiots.
Also, the specific CO2 focus of this is a bit negligent. There is no other purpose of the argument or research if that's the only thing they focus on. It is just a further extension of all the other carbon tax credit scheming.
There is a real problem with nutrition and part of it is explained by this, another part explained by GMO crops designed to grow big and bright. Total lack of diversity in the genetic material of these crops doesn't help either.
Those things must be addressed to get the nutrient levels up.
Perhaps in the future we won't be paying for food by weight but by nutrient content.... Oh, what, wait, there's an entire industry of grocery stores dedicated to providing food that is made naturally and non modified?
I guess all those hippies overpaying for their produce had a clue after all
