I'm guessing this won't work for sites where a real device is mandated. I believe on Vanguard, they were enforcing only permitting real Yubikey devices with real Yubikey certificates.
- psanford 4y agoVanguard changed their policy when they switched from the u2f javascript api/shim to webauthn. I was able to register non-fido keys with vanguard a few months ago.
- Lucent 4y agoThey'll also accept Android phones via Bluetooth. More importantly, adding two keys lets you disable SMS codes.
