Given the Russian war on Ukraine, and the price of energy dropping in BRIC countries, does the Ethereum merge actually help Western interests? Ie. Does this mean that Russia, for example, can't leverage their cheap energy into crypto which can then be exchanged for cash? Would that line of reasoning have led Western governments to lean on the Ethereum people to complete the merge? </tinhat>
