(full page sudden popover, tiny "no thanks" text) - ads every paragraph (big enough to disrupt reading flow) - ads in floating banner at the top - browser creaks and groans trying to paint as I scroll, white blocks if I go too fast. It's almost like they are trying to demonstrate why Craigslist looks the same by giving a vivid counter-example.
