I gave up playing around with AI partly because the drivers are proprietary and not too good. Only in the past year or two has Nouveau developed well enough that some games are playable. But only on cards not enforcing signed firmware. How much more anti-consumer can you get after requiring signed firmware? That is when I started my boycott.
