Why on earth would you ever think "I'd like to smash the computer"? That's exactly the same thing as "I'd like to smash the hammer", and who in their right mind would think that way?
Some science-fiction writer way back in my dim past once wrote that computers are "nothing but fast morons". They don't/can't think for themselves, any more than a hammer can.
So: there is no such thing as 'technostress'.
'Stress' is another matter entirely, and that's purely within ourselves.
