Problem: how to make HTML5 <canvas> elements responsive, interactive and (importantly) more accessible for end users.
Solution: an OS Javascript library to make it easier for devs to achieve the above
Progress: ongoing - possibly neverending
Why: in 2013 I was having real trouble breaking into the industry; a recruiter told me I might have more success if I had a project to showcase my skills. I settled on building a canvas library because I enjoy creating pretty graphics stuff. After I (finally) landed a job I just ... carried on with it because: fun! The drive to make the canvas element responsive/accessible/etc came much later when I was looking for an edge over the competition and realised all the other JS canvas libraries didn't seem interested in solving those problems.
