It's odd that this article came out only a few months after CL did a semi-significant change in the way they display listings -- the "gallery view" now lays out the screen differently, and it's fairly broken on mobile, pushing the left menu in and out randomly as you scroll (iOS Firefox and Safari anyway). FWIW, I still use CL quite a lot in the SF Bay area. The cars listings are full of spam and scams, probably double what they were 5 or 6 years ago. This, despite the fact that they started charging for cars/trucks listings.
