There’s still a lot to be learned about body doubling and why/how it works so it definitely varies from person to person. I’m in the same boat that house chores need someone there doing the same thing, rather than just their presence. One of the things we’re playing around with is different user experiences for different tasks (e.g., computer work vs house chores). It’d be great to hear what you’ve tried when it comes to focusing on work and how it went!
