Every single one of those "free trial period" scams that require a credit card to sign up (for the allegedly "free" trial period) will fail with a prepaid card. I have tried. It is my position that every sort of "free trial period" that requires calling or snailmailing in order to cancel should be outlawed. With hefty penalties for all execs at such organizations.
