- ZeroGravitas 4y agoI think AI is amazing but also that it's full of magic tricks. If the model is just extracting words from the prompt why not make that explicit. "You typed: women with a cat under her hat, we extracted the words woman, cat, hat, under and her and applied these weights to them". People seem to go out of their way to make these models more exotic than they are, even when what they do is amazing already and has no need for confusing hype to obscure the truly amazing. Then when the model improves you can say we have detected that the cat is under the hat, we assume 80% the hat is on the woman's head or whatever. Just only showing the hand picked best output annoys me. Show them all or don't show them at all. Do we need someone to rewrite "how to lie with statistics" but for AI demos?
