It's interesting how Jeffrey Sachs has been pounding the table on this. He's not someone who can easily be dismissed as a fringe figure. It's odd how little sense of urgency seems to exist around this question. The possibility SARS-CoV-2 was created in a lab is pretty widely acknowledged as possible or even likely, and yet the idea that transparency would be demanded of these labs or that anyone could be held accountable has almost no traction at all.
