Why would China give a shit? Anything that distracts the world from their activities is welcome, and it makes no difference to them if the front line moves east or west.
- jfengel 4y agoYes, and they'd like to continue that distraction. They'd like Russia to continue antagonizing the West long term, which will be harder if they are defeated in Ukraine. The more humiliating the defeat, the harder it will be for Russia to continue providing China with cover. They don't care one way or the other about Ukraine, but they are definitely concerned that they may have to alter their long-term plans.
