Agreed here. I'm from EU but moved to CA, and the attitude is different. When I visit family in the USA it feels even worse. The quality of food is usually quite bad here. And people eating out fast food just for lunch, or even going to {Fast food chain} in the morning for breakfast just seems crazy to me. The variety of food is pretty good, I find a lot of different cuisines here. But actual quality food is much harder to find. (Quantity over quality I guess).
