- ectopod 4y agoWe call them decimal points. Most software uses full stops (aka periods, because that's what's on the keyboard), but decimal points are normal in typeset and handwritten maths.
- bandie91 4y agoyea and more! they use low-dot (period) when multiplying variables, and Roman digit for 1, and does not use the "-rd" ending names for the power of 1000: milliard, billiard…
