I decompiled the extension a while back and it is a series of custom JS code for each website or CMP provider with matching rules. Only checked the bundled version but the code seemed very custom and labor intensive to keep up with website changes. Best of luck to future forks and maintainers. I didn't spend too much time on it, because a filter based approach seemed more maintainable.
