I've been removing browns and mustard yellows from my late 70's house for the last 5 years. I'm up for a more subtle colour palette.
- swayvil 4y agoHow about a nice pastel? Also, google up... Oh, I forget the term. "Heritage colors" or something like that. There are certain classic colors, time-tested, from over the past couple centuries, that really do the job well. Worth looking at. There's probably a list at the Sherwin Williams site. At my house we did this classic beige overall. Invented by Ben Franklin or something. And then accent walls of pastel sunset orange and a 1920s seafoam. It's nice.
