We don't need a drawn out hypothetical to explain what we're seeing with the American right. And that's an attempt to overturn an election through force on 1/6 which lead to deaths of some of the participants, an increase in the number of election deniers in the party, as well as an attempt to overturn democracy by the SCOTUS ruling on Moore v. Harper. Conservatives can't get upset that people are judging them by the things they consistently say, do and support.
