The velocity?????
Discord’s product has barely changed, they move so slow, but thanks to their market dominance no one has been able to compete
- elcomet 4y agoThis has not been my experience. Compared to slack they are moving much faster
- acedTrex 4y agoWhat? discord is iterating so rapidly API lib/bot devs can barely keep up
- vorpalhex 4y agoThey just replaced the Android app with a react native monstrosity so slow I can read a page while it loads a conversation.
- madeofpalk 4y agoI think they've been iterating fairly quickly tbh. Loads of improvements for bots (slash commands, modals, buttons, message context menu api, etc), threads, these 'forum channels'. Whatever you can say about Discord's iteration speed, Slack is 100x slower.
