Family Demands to Know How a 200-Pound Antique Anvil Disappeared from Area 51

- bediger4000 4y agoIs it possible that the anvil records nuclear events? The anvil is old enough to have been forged before any radioactive isotopes from nuclear blasts were present in the environment, so any evidence of radiation (radioactive decay, paths of high energy particles) in the anvil would be very specifically traceable to Area 51 test flights.
- injb 4y agoThey make it sound like a 200 pound anvil is hard to lose, but how big is 200 lbs of iron? The size of a dog? I'm not saying that justifies it or anything but once you lose track of where it is, your chances of finding it again are not great out there.
