Kangaroo kills man for first time in Australia since 1936

  The title says killed by kangaroo but it was actually a kangaroo attack. I am sure people have died from car crashes involving kangaroos when plenty people die in other places from hitting dear and moose.

    Not that I know of. Although there are bounty systems for killing kangaroos under certain circumstances and in some States because there are just so many of them [0]. Curiously, back in 1932, there was this insane thing called "The Great Emu War" [1] (which very few Aussies have heard of, in my experience) where we literally declared war on emus. As [1] says, "While a number of the birds were killed, the emu population persisted and continued to cause crop destruction."
