Bluntly, your opinion will be interesting only when you're able to tell us:
1. What metabolic pathway is being modeled by a mouse
2. Why it's important to the study
3. How that pathway differs in humans
4. How that difference materially affects the results of the study
Until then, just revealing your own ignorance. Mice are chosen deliberately. It's not an accident.
