  Because only Rogan has both the platform and enough f-you money to not care if he's deplatformed from the internet in total? And let's be honest: controversy drives interest, just like the MMA fight coverage he's a part of.

      I suspect he's genuinely interested in the topics at least for a while. I can relate to a certain degree: when I am learning something new I deep-dive on a topic and talk to people who know things about it, I just don't have access to people to interview like Rogan does. In my case, once I exhaust my learning on a topic I usually never care about it again (eg: is a 56V cordless drill inherently superior to one that operates at 18V) and just move on to other interests though while I'm learning it's like a fever that I cannot shake until I get to the bottom of the inquest.
