That's disappointing. I would imagine that many of these sites will eventually be lost to natural and man-made events. At what point can we say it's time to excavate before it's too late?
- Stevvo 4y agoFortunately there is ongoing excavation nearby at Karahan Tepe; it's a recently discovered even larger sister site built by the same civilization.
