Can you trust Mercury Bank?
- mtmail 4y agoMany web frameworks or rather authentication frameworks have the feature to lock an account temporarily when there is too many false password attempts. Usually you receive an email and the account is unlocked after an hour or such. It one way to make sure brute-force distributed password attempts are kept in check. Our website sends emails but it's to the effect of 'contact us if you have any issues'. Larger companies also add an IP address to the email. I can only see Mercury's approach as a way to cut down customer service costs because users send to overreact when there's many false password attempts from other locations.
