- Gwypaas 4y agoIt is windier in the winter months, so what is needed is geographical decoupling through interconnections. Then overbuilding and curtailment definitely is a workable solution. The Baltic sea is also definitely workable for off-shore wind. Not to the level of the north sea but not that far off. https://globalwindatlas.info/ https://globalwindatlas.info/
- ftth_finland 4y agoGeographical decoupling is neither cheap nor easy. Africa is far away and not exactly chock-full of stable countries.
