Can someone explain what was great about dark sky? All I really know about it that it was an weather app acquired by Apple from some other discussions about it. It seemingly had a "Time Machine" feature to see the past weather but is that really a game changing feature? Was the UI good ?
- wyre 4y agoHyperlocalized weather forcasting down to the street address, wealth of information laid out in an accessible way with a clean UI. I live in the PNW and love that I can see the hourly forecasted rainfall for the day.
- zargon 4y agoI really don't care about the UI, just the data. And Dark Sky data was superior to anything else I've seen.
