This seems like a good time to remind ourselves...
"There are only two kinds of language: the ones people complain about, and the ones nobody uses."
I.e., evidence positive for Rust use.
- pornel 4y agoI don't like this saying, because it doesn't distinguish between people merely disliking a language and the language having real warts. It can be used to justify bad design.
- ncmncm 4y agoAnd knives can be used to cut yourself. Yet, we all use knives. Every language becomes a legacy language before it achieves maturity. The next immature language is promoted as lacking all its flaws. But new flaws are always invented.
