  “In December 2016, Congress passed the 21st Century Cures Act, which authorized $1.8 billion in funding for the Cancer Moonshot over 7 years” Every little bit helps but that’s not much money. We added 16 trillion to the national debt in 12 years. Anyway, the real Apollo Moonshot program costs a few percent of the US budget and had hundreds of thousands of people working on it.
