One has to wonder what Terry Davis could have made if he got care for his schizophrenia.
- cmrdporcupine 4y agoI've heard from multiple schizophrenic people that many of the meds given for schizophrenia also cause significant cognitive impairment or make them drowsy/low-energy. So hard to say.
- lioeters 4y agoI sympathized for him, a brilliant and broken person. The U.S. is full of such homeless people, coast to coast, fallen through the social safety net like crazy diamonds on the streets. His operating system was deeply related to his obsessive mystical thoughts. The computer was an "oracle", a medium through which he communicated with the Divine. If he had received the mental healthcare he needed, I wonder if he would have continued with the project. In a way, that project was all he had, when he had lost everything.
