I travel now, not next year or some future date. I'm glad you're so US ego centric to dictate what counties are worth while and which aren't based on iPhones esim. Supporting both would have been the smart choice but iPhones are purchased as ego fashion statements not as tools.
I hope you actually go back and read your comment again. The kind of elitism you display denigrating other countries that may not have the same infrastructure as the United States is mind-blowing. The kind of arrogance you're demonstrating in your comments denigrating a large number of countries as unworthy to travel to by iPhone users. It is mind-blowing.
- innagadadavida 4y agoI'm not denigrating any country - I'm just the messenger shining the spotlight on how every profit seeking large business operates. So I'm glad your mind was blown - this was educational! Secondly, your outrage is meaningless and you are an elite - very few people in the world have the privilege to travel with a working mobile phone across continents burning huge amounts of fossil fuels and you are one of them. Lastly it hypocritical for non-elites to complain about a not released elite phone they don't intend to buy, especially when there is the option to buy another phone or an older cheaper iPhone with a sim slot. All this said, I do find Apple's stance on removing every last vestige of a physical connector inconvenient (headphone jack being one). Sadly, I just accept these inconveniences and move on with the rest of my life.
