Sorry, the booster had a problem in it's engine, not explosion. Also the capsule blasted free, the plume of the escape rocket made the booster look like it exploded, but later the telemetry say the booster was in one piece as it fell down. Of-course when it hit (not landed) the ground pieces would be all over the place.
