This article is out of date. We have chip glut situation right now, both Intel and NVIDIA have pushed back their 4nm orders. And 7/8nm already produced chips are piling up with no buyer to be found (especially GPUs).
- matthews2 4y agoThere was a bigger problem with chips built on older processes (e.g. power ICs and microcontrollers).
- jbverschoor 4y agoAnd that will never be fixed because those fabs are a dead end. It’s just a matter of time before they are gone
