No one knows how many upvotes or comments the submission would have without the censorship because the fact its [flagged] means no one can reply. The first few times I submitted posts about other aspects to this story, they did get several upvotes before being [flagged] within minutes. People do want to have a converation about this topic but the flagging/censorship mechanism, as intended, makes it impossible.
- mtmail 4y agoI believe you didn't understand my comment. The AskHN (https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=32803999 https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=32803999) isn't flagged. It has 2 points, it starts with 1 point so one user upvoted. 'showdead' is covered in the FAQ.
