The Money or the Title?
- uberman 4y agoIt is not just big banks that work like this but other big companies. When I was young, I worked for a big auto company with a household name. I had the same offer for almost the same amounts and I chose the title rather than the increased base. I never regretted it. Sure, base is important, but the title came with a car, an executive bonus structure that dwarfed the difference in base compensation and most importantly, access to the executive retreates that launched my career.
