You are correct. Using a DAO / Web3 stuff for lobbying IS innovative. I am just disgusted with the state of lobbying and campaign financing in the US. Under that lens, a lobbying DAO is just another "patch" a politician could be wearing to show who sponsors them.

I agree, it's gross and corrupt. In order for regular citizens to seize control again, we either need blood in the streets of the power brokers, or to change the system peacefully from within. To achieve the latter, I think democratising access to the existing corrupt system is a promising idea.
