- smegger001 4y agosimple 55+ no longer have children at home (if they ever had them), menopause has removed the fear of unexpected pregnancy, divorces have already happened if they were going to and death has started claiming partners from devoted couple meaning you have a large number of financially secure single people with time on their hands.
