What type of computers do they use to render these FX these days?
- kelsolaar 4y agoDepends on the studio and the type of VFX. The most complex tend to be CPU/Memory bound as the datasets typically do not fit in GPU memory (48GB for an NVIDIA A6000). Thus you find AMD EPYC with a lot of RAM and NVME disks on the server side or AMD Threadripper Pro at artists desks.
